Visiting Kents Hill School and Nursery will enable you to experience the nurturing culture of our school and witness the fantastic learning that takes place here. After an informative welcome talk by both our Headteacher and Assistant Headteacher (SENCO), there will be plenty of opportunity to tour the school and meet the children and staff to gain a real sense of our school community and the values we share. Likewise, it will give us the opportunity to learn more about your family and help answer any questions you may have.

At Kents Hill School, we accept applications in school for places in our Nursery. For a place in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2, Milton Keynes Council Admissions Department process applications. Please see below for where and when to apply.
When do I need to apply for my child’s place in Nursery or Reception?
Nursery: We have one intake per year in September. Application packs can be collected from the school office at any time. We have a waiting list system in operation and will contact you nearer the time of entry to the school to ask you to confirm your child’s place. For any information regarding spaces in our Nursery, please call Mrs. Willson (Admissions Co-Ordinator) on 01908 240038, selecting extension 4206 when prompted or email kentshillschool@mket.org.uk. You can also find information under the ‘Nursery’ drop-down menu above and select ‘Entry to Nursery’.
Reception: Applications for Reception spaces for September 2024 will open shortly and close on 14th January 2024. Please apply at http://www.milton-keynes.gov.uk/schooladmissions. You will be able to log in from midnight on 15th April 2024 to see the school that you have been allocated.
What about In-Year applications for places this year? Can I still attend the Open Morning if I am considering moving schools for my child this year?
