Our school is an academy with Milton Keynes Education Trust, serving Kents Hill and the surrounding area by providing an exciting environment for young children and their families. Our Nursery enhances our provision and attracts children from a wide area. We are dedicated to meeting the needs of 3-7 year olds and believe this to be their foundation for their lifelong learning journey. We hope that you will share our ambitions and aspirations for your children.
Our school motto is 'Tomorrow's Success Begins Today'. We know that children and adults alike have strengths in many areas of life both in and out of school. We love to share and celebrate our successes together.
The school was last inspected by OFSTED in October 2012, when we were judged as a GOOD school in all areas. The intention behind this rigorous and thorough inspection is to identify the strengths of the school and to highlight key issues that we need to work on in order to improve the quality of the teaching and raise the standard of achievement for all the school. The inspector said "Pupils' attitudes to learning are good. Pupils are polite and courteous. The quality of teaching has improved considerably since the last inspection]. Staff work hard to ensure that discrimination of any kind is not tolerated. Pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is well promoted. Teaching is consistently good ...".
We are pleased that OFSTED recognised us as GOOD in many key aspects we believe make Kents Hill a special place. We are now determined to continue to raise the standards in the school yet higher.
If you would like to come and visit us and see at first-hand how we work in partnership with parents and the community, then please ring to arrange an appointment. We would be very proud to show you around our school.
