Afterschool Clubs
At Kents Hill School and Nursery, we offer further chances for children to get active in our afterschool club provision through Teddy Sports Clubs. Sporty Scholars, who also provide our wraparound care, run these clubs for the children at our school. Please see below which classes are offered each week from Monday – Wednesday.

Mondays – Teddy Tennis – 3pm – 4pm
Teddy Tennis: Teddy Tennis inspires children aged 2 to 5+ to get active, grow their confidence and enhance their communication skills so as to equipment them with the key skills needed to meet the growing challenges of life in the 21st century.
How we do this: We make Teddy Tennis FUN and engaging to play by using a combination of music, pictures and teddy bear characters throughout all our lessons whereby captivating their imaginations and appealing to their young developing minds. This form of teaching is modelled on what is known as Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning, see below for more information.
What we do: We teach Teddy Tennis all year round in nurseries, kindergartens, parks, tennis clubs and sports centres in 18 countries worldwide, lessons which children everywhere love.

Wednesdays – Teddy Soccer – 3pm – 4pm
Children could not receive a better start to learning soccer! Every Teddy Soccer games and activity has been specifically designed to help a young child develop the key fundamental skills of soccer. Graduates of the Teddy Soccer Academy will have developed the highest skill levels, and ones that will set them up to be successful at sport generally for life.
